About:-
I am a Registered Mental Health Nurse with over 20 years experience working within specialist mental health services in the NHS. I have worked with adults, adolescents and younger children in a community clinic setting as well as inpatient. For the past 10 years I have worked within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services and I have experience within Generic CAMHS, Forensic CAMHS and CAMHS Eating Disorders.

Approach:-
I am able to undertake full and comprehensive assessments, providing a formulation and written report. I am trained to provide interventions in Family Based Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (Enhanced) for young people diagnosed with Eating Disorders.

Area of Expertise:-
I am an Eating Disorder Specialist and I currently provide NICE guidelines treatment for young people and their families.

Qualifications & Experience:-
Since 2010 I have been working within CAMHS. This has been within psychological medicine in accident and emergency, assessing and supporting young people in crisis, triaging and assessing referrals through to CAMHS and for the past 4 years I have been working individually and systemically with young people, siblings and parents where the diagnosis has been an eating disorder. I have qualifications in Family Based Treatment, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy - Enhanced for Eating Disorders, Couples Counselling, Counselling skills, Forensic CAMHS and a BSc in Psychology.
